Our Injury Assessment, Evaluation, and Referral service is for athletes and active individuals who want a clear, professional second opinion when something hurts and you are not sure what to do next. Instead of guessing or "pushing through," you receive a focused, one-on-one evaluation from a Nationally Board Certified, Texas-licensed athletic trainer with extensive experience across youth, collegiate, and professional sports.
During your visit, we take time to hear exactly how the injury happened, what you are feeling, and how it affects your daily activities and performance. We then perform a structured assessment - observing movement, testing strength and range of motion, and using sport-specific knowledge to identify which structures may be involved. From there, we talk with you in clear, straightforward language about what the findings suggest. You will leave knowing whether the issue appears mild and manageable with rest, targeted exercises, and self-care, or whether it is more serious and needs prompt attention from an orthopedic or other specialist.
When referral is recommended, we explain why and provide guidance on what type of provider to see and what to share at that appointment. This reduces anxiety, saves time, and helps you advocate for yourself more effectively within the healthcare system.
This service does not replace medical diagnosis, but it does give you knowledgeable triage, early support, and a practical plan for next steps. Instead of sitting with uncertainty or relying on internet searches, you gain a calm, experienced voice to help you protect your long-term health, return to play more safely, and reduce the risk of turning a small problem into a lasting one.
We’re here to help you feel cared for and supported every step of the way.
Share your questions or requests with us, and we will respond with thoughtful, personalized guidance designed to support your mind, body, and soul.
